Cheshire Fire needed an app to help people discover the most common causes of fire within the home and assess your own home for fire safety.
The quiz is divided into sections such as bedtime routine and smoking. As you work through each section you will answer questions and be given information. The app uses a selection of multiple questions to determine whether the user’s home is as fire safe as it can be.
As you go through the quiz, you answer questions about use of electrical equipment, age of family, use of smoke alarms, bedtime routine. The questions include some aspects of fire safety that you may not have already thought of.
Once you have worked through all the questions, which takes around 5 minutes, the results are calculated and you will be shown a risk rating.
Take 5 minutes to work through this easy to use, free mobile app and assess the fire risk of your home.
Free to download from the Apple app store for iOS and from the Google Play store for Android.
If you have provided information which indicates there may be an issue at home and you are aged over 65, then a free home safety visit can be requested, simply by clicking the button in the app. The results can also be printed out or emailed to the user for their reference.
