We’ve melded everything we know about gameplay, instant win competitions, virtual and location-based Augmented Reality into a full physical and digital simulation of the amazing new rollercoaster opening at Alton Towers Resort in May 2013.

In The Smiler game, players can upgrade the coaster step-by–step by mastering its intense thrills, twists and turns in stunning 3D. Every point earned can be used to unlock new ride elements, from additional body wrenching loops to the extra twisted psychological effects of the coaster’s central feature, The Marmaliser.

On the Wheel of Win, there’s a free spin every day to win special Alton Towers Resort prizes and players can earn more spins by mastering maximum points in the game. To fully complete the game, players must dare to set foot into Alton Towers Resort’s infamous X-Sector, using The Smiler Scanner on specific images to bring to life the hidden secrets of the park and unlock unexpected upgrades.
