I’m going to be honest with you, when someone suggested this app to me I immediately wrote it off as boring. It is essentially a puzzle game where you have to fold paper in to funny shapes. Not sold? Neither was I until I played it and found myself unable to blink for 45 minutes straight. It’s stupidly addictive but simple enough to put down and come back to it as you please. Available on iOS and Android.
This neat little app is especially handy for people who are often on the go, as it allows you to view webpages offline. It syncs with apps like Feedly and you can even get it as a plug-in for your browser so if you see an article you want to read later, you just save it to Pocket and can read it anywhere at any time – magic! Download on iOS and Android.
For people who love making lists, this app is everything! You can make lists under categories such as work, shopping and movies so you don’t get your avocados mixed up with your Chocolat. The design is lovely and lets you pick out a wallpaper for your dashboard, with more features like this to unlock if you upgrade to the paid for version, although I’m pretty convinced the basic free version is all you need. Download on iOS and Android!
4. Do Or Die
A funny and bizarre take on the Dumb Ways To Die game we were obsessed with last year. This series of mini games will have you furiously bashing your mouse in no time! Play here.
5. Kim Kardashian: Hollywood
All hail one of the best worst apps ever made! Become a pro at social climbing by carrying out menial tasks like attending parties and promoting vodka. Money literally falls out of the sky when you ‘meet and greet’ people at the club, which I’m pretty sure is an accurate representation of our mentor Kim Kardashian’s life. We probably shouldn’t tell you to download this but you can get it on iOS and Android.
