Digital Nomad lifestyle whilst it lasted was an array of emotions in which I do not regret doing. I’d like to say a quick thank you to Jeff and Matmi for allowing me to undertake such a journey – allowing me to travel and work at the same time.
If you ask me what country I enjoyed the most it’s got to be Budapest, the history, the culture, prices and the food combined just make it one the best European cities I’ve visited!
The journey itself taught me some valuable lessons, the most punishing was trying to find decent to places to stay that met specific criteria. In our case, it was ensuring it had two bedrooms, laptop working friendly space, somewhere interesting and fast internet!
Recommend to book in advance
We always booked our next stay a week in advance but this isn’t enough, especially during the peak times of summer, always fighting to find somewhere relatively cheap (with regards to our budget), not already booked up, fast/stable internet and enough space to accommodate for the both of us. We found ourselves quickly eating into our next weeks budget and thus the main reason why I’m home earlier than expected.
To quickly conclude, this is the end, the ending of an experience that I will never forget but it’s nice to be back with the guys at work, doing a lot of AR R&D and working on exciting ventures with companies like ICAEW and the UN guiding people to participate in activities that make a positive change in the world.
