the monsters returnOne of Matmi’s quirks is our family of monsters, the Monster Mafia. They sound threatening, but as soon as you see the beautiful 3D characters, you know they’re really just tonnes of fun in various disguises. Our Monsters have served us well over the years, creating one of our first successful casual games, Monster Poolside Sumo. (What else?). Lately they’ve acquired a taste for the iPhone with our first iPhone release, Monster Pinball, another Matmi test. A very successful test as it turns out – Staff Pick of the Week, Apple iPhone Store Pick of the Week and a listing in O’Reilly’s Media’s 2009 directory of the best 200 iPhone apps. Not just games, but all app genres with a pool of 50,000 to pick from. Even we thought that was good. But on a serious note, mobile is the platform of choice for the future. The world of online, console, PC, Mac, phone, business and consumer are all going walkabout. We can take you on that journey too. Funnily enough its destination is the Matmisphere where brands and consumers meet (very successfully) online on a phone near you.
