I admit, I’m not usually one to pay for an app unless it’s REALLY good. Well, this app is REALLY good. The stunning platform adventure game won the 2014 Apple Design Award and we can see why. Our designers have been swooning over the visuals whereas the rest of us just want to help Leo get his gold back! It’s this perfect combination of stunning backdrops and gameplay that make it our favourite app of the month by far!
For all the wine lovers out there – this app will change your life. Vivino lets you scan your wine bottle on your phone and matches it to all the reviews on it’s database, giving you a star rating and average price with comments from people who have tried it. You can also search for nearby locations i.e. your local boozer; and it will show you all the top rated/best value wines available, to help you make a decision. I’ll drink to that!
This meditation app is unlike any others I’ve seen. It’s super easy and unpretentious, with lovely little animations and characters that remind us of the Two Dots app. The free ‘Take 10 Programme’ allows you to do 10 minute meditation sessions from your mobile whenever and where ever you are, so you can even meditate during your morning commute!

If you love a good selfie then you’ll love this app. To get started you simply upload a photo of yourself to the app and wait… Anonymous users will then select selfies at random and draw portraits of them, with hilarious results.
If This Then That, otherwise known as IFTTT, is a nifty little app that makes ‘recipes’ out of the existing apps on your phone to create cool control panels. It allows you to link your social channels so anything you post on say, Tumblr, will also go out to Instagram and Twitter automatically. Or for example you can set a recipe to save any photo you are tagged in on Facebook to your iPhone photos, without having to do anything at all. Magic!
