It’s been a while so we thought we would let you know what was going on in the world of Matmi.
At the Matmi HQ our key focus this year has been location based technology, gamification and alternative realities; which has seen us working with many companies on their earned and owned media strategies.
We’ve continued to expand our dedicated network of partners and suppliers allowing us to deliver truly amazing cross platform solutions and we’ve also helped nurture future talent establishing key relationships with some of the countries leading universities and educational establishments.
By working in partnership in a joint R&D capacity, we make sure that we are prepared for the future by working with tomorrows talent whilst allowing these institutions to keep up today with the current trends, all mutually beneficial, just as we like it.
We’re currently finishing a high profile gamification app for a leading bank, while our work in the leisure industry continues with cutting edge solutions for the Escape Rooms. Our work in games continues with the production of an exciting sport management gaming app and we have been putting the finishing touches to our revolutionary cinema product Loopsi with our partner Unique Digital….watch this space.
Our work with the Fire Service continues and our fire service portfolio now includes, apps, edu-games, websites, gamification solutions and we will soon be delivering Virtual / Augmented / Mixed Reality solutions to help with training and education in this sector.
To keep up with all the great work we have recruited some wonderful new staff to join our amazing team and our recent metamorphosis is now complete (until the next one). This ever changing attitude allows us to be uniquely placed to help companies who realise that traditional advertising isn’t working and the mainstream media is fading.

16 years ago we would never have imagined that we could change the world with a little bit of fun….it’s amazing that we’ve come so far. Our work connects new technology with human psychology and breaks down the barriers between brands and the public resulting in new relationships for our evolved society….your customers have woken up, have you?
Outside Matmi I have been busy on the international speaker circuit talking about the future of digital & technology and have also been consulting for many agencies in my “Fungineer” capacity showing them new ways of engagement.
Work also continues with our local council (Cheshire) helping create the ‘Weave’, a new body that will interweave traditional business sectors with the digital and technology sectors creating new types of business that will attract inward investment and skills.
