A Genius re-imagining of Let it Flow.

Friday, November 26th, 2010

It was a day, just like any other day at Matmi. All the Matmians were busy tap, tap, tapping on their keyboards, when the phone rang. Like so many other businesses around the world, Maginus had called to request Matmi’s services. They had seen our work and wanted their very own advergame. Not only that, but they had brought their very own creation to the table. A small, brightly coloured fellow named ‘My Genius’.

Like the start of any other project, we started to rev up the ideas engine to come up with a unique game that suited such a vibrant character as My Genius. However, this was not necessary…

If you know your Matmian history, you may recall an extremely successful campaign created for Comic Relief. The game was of course ‘Let it Flow’. Maginus had seen this simple, yet challenging game and wanted their very own version of it. We were all too happy to oblige.

Now, you must understand, this was not to be a simple ‘re-skin’ of the old ‘Let it Flow’ game. Oh no, here at Matmi we like to be creative. So simply re-skinning an old project just isn’t enough for our dedicated and talented crew. They wanted, nay needed, a project to get their teeth into.

Channel Connect’ was born! With a brand new graphics engine to match My Genius’ ‘colourful’ personality (…poor joke I know, I just couldn’t resist).

Connect the pipes correctly so My Genius can ‘swoosh’ to his destination. There are 10 levels with increasing difficulty. Each one is as bright and colourful as My Genius himself.

So give your brain a 10 minute work out and try

Your pass into the Celebrity jungle…

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

… or is that a pass out? Mmmmm – debatable after the frequent faints & early exits at the start of Series 10. But that’s enough of that!

You don’t have to let this year’s contestants have all the fun: you can get down n dirty in ITV’s “I’m A Celebrity” jungle right here, right now with our latest game.
- Choose your contestant (Dee Kupper’s a game girl.. )
- Play the Bushtucker Trials (inedible treats, snakes and crocs)
- Then post your score to Facebook & Twitter, all from the comfort of your own sofa.

The game will run alongside the series – and it beats doing the Christmas shopping!

In fact, maybe this is what Gillian & Nigel should have done from the start… . (Ooooh – wash my mouth out with jungle goo!!).

Would Gillian do this?
